Katz felines third!
Apologies for the late update but better that way than never and in either case posted before the Ostfeld Memorial Fall tournament that will take place this Sunday September 27th.
The winners were the Shlionsky family of Ahron, and Aryeh-Lieb, both of whom played in the open section. Ahron scored three-and-a-half points, while Aryeh-Lieb took in two for the family total. All members of the Shlionsky family get free entry into the next Ostfeld Memorial tournament which is scheduled for September 27th.
The Dyadyuk family scored five-and-a-half points total as well but finished second because Felix, and Aron played in sections, one, and four respectively. Felix scored four points out of four, and Aron added one-and-a-half to the family score. Both brothers will also receive free entry into the next Ostfeld Memorial on September 27th.
Finally, the Katz brothers, Alex, and Nicholas, both playing in the open section, finished in third place overall with five points as Alex scored a perfect four, and Nicholas added one point to the total. Both get free entry into any Super Saturday tournament at our Fair Lawn location.
Fifteen families played in the Ostfeld Memorial Spring event and we hope to see them and more Sunday September 27th at the Ostfeld Memorial Fall tournament in Bergen Academies.
