“Happy” Camper Sophie Rasol Wins ICA Fall Ostfeld Memorial U1600 Open Section!

Longtime ICA student, and definitely “happy” (Pink Fluffy Unicorns ,  Pink Fluffy Unicorns dancing on Rainbows Sophie) camper Sophie Rasol won all four games to win 140 dollars in the first Ostfeld Memorial tournament of the school year.   

Sophie’s “Happy” Camper compatriot Alex Biyanov tied for second place with Jurij Oracz, which earned both players 87.50 per man for the three out of four points that they attained. 

Jaron Bernard got 35 dollars for two and a half points out of four and his efforts as the best player rated under 1400, while Katherine Chin go 35 for her two points and being the best finisher rated under 1200.

Both Sophie and Alex attended the Master Camp during the Summer so we like to think their efforts in it paid off!
