West Point Military Academy Makes Presence Known At 2nd
Largest ICA Saturday Quads Ever!
At what was our second largest ICA Glen Rock Quad ever we were very pleased to host an eleven player contingent from the West Point Military Academy. We had around six, seven cadets as well as the coach of their local chess club (“Four Knights Chess Club”) Joseph Odell, as well as his kids (Caitlin, Grace, Chaela, and Corin) who played in the lower sections.
Two of the cadets, Morgan Landers, and Thomas Kilcullen conquered first place in their individual groups, while coach Joseph O, and Nick Oblak got second place in their individual groups.
The other quads were won by ICA students, Srivatsan Sudhir, Angelina Li, David Mo, Leon Berenfeld, Sean McLaughlin, Bowen Huang, and former ICA camper/student/current TD Nicholas Cardenas.
