A “Shu” In! Ava and Arthur Shu win First ICA Family Tournament Of The Year! 
Jody and Choco and Lev and Denis Koganov tie for 2^nd & 3^rd!

Ava, Arthur Shu scored three wins each in sections two, and one respectively to win outright first place in our family competition with a total of 6 out of a possible 8 points.   Ava and Arthur are now eligible for free entry into two (!) tournaments: 1. Free entry into the next Ostfeld Memorial scheduled for December 16^th in Hackensack 2. New Year’s Eve Blitz scheduled for December 31^st, OR a free super Saturday Glen Rock tournament of their choice.

Two families that tied for second place right behind the Shu clan were the Chen family (Jody and Choco), and the Koganov family (Denis and Lev).  Both families scored 5.5 out of a possible 8 points and gain entry to one free tournament: either the December 31^st New Year’s Eve Blitz tournament in Glen Rock OR a free Super Saturday Glen Rock tournament of their choice. 

Twenty-seven families competed in The October 7^th Ostfeld Memorial Family competition.

Our next Ostfeld Memorial Tournament is scheduled for December 16^th in Bergen Academies in Hackensack.
