ICA Spring Camp 2019 Day 2 In Teaneck

ICA Spring Camp 2019 Day 2 In Teaneck

Day 2 of Spring Camp in Teaneck

The students started their day with chess lessons. In Ivette’s class they learned/reviewed relative, absolute and crossed pins and how to apply that tactic in their games. In Robert’s class Rudy and Nina learned how to checkmate using two rooks and using the king and the queen. The best students were Simon and Rudy. The kids had lots of fun playing dodgeball. After an exhausting long duel between Christopher and Herta, Christopher won that round for his team. Michael and Simon tied first in section 1 and Dima was undefeated in section 2 (he will be moving to section 1 for more challenging games).
