INTERNATIONAL CHESS ACADEMY SUMMER CAMP

Time to secure your child’s spot in the 2020 ICA Summer Camp sessions!

Our two New Jersey camp locations in Glen Rock and Teaneck offers a structured opportunity for kids aged 6-16 to grow intellectually and let creativity flourish. With a 6:1 ratio of campers to counselors, our campers can gain independence and self-confidence in an intellectually rigorous yet incredibly fun and safe environment.

Take advantage of the opportunity to give your child the thrill of working with internationally known chess coaches like WGM Tatiana Grabuzova! Morning chess lessons are structured for different levels based on experience and all focus on strategy, tactics and end-game training. Afternoon Chess tournaments let our campers put into practice what they have learned in the lessons.

ICA’s summer activities are more than just Chess and are designed to improve strategic thinking, memory and logic, while letting campers explore their creativity, imagination and most importantly, allowing them to form friendships and have fun. Experiment with Archery and Soccer or home your skills in Math and Problem Solving games. All our counselors excel in their field and are enthusiastic teachers.

At ICA camps, confidence is reinforced by success at every level and in a multitude of disciplines. Your child is encouraged to get out of their comfort zone with competition in the chess arena at all levels, yet sportsmanship and camaraderie are always our most highly prized attributes.

We pride ourselves in giving campers the opportunity to explore interests such as Art, Music, Math, and Athletics (our summer dodgeball and soccer tournaments are legendary), all while building friendships that last well past summer.

Registration is open and early-bird, sibling and multi-session discounts are available. As in years past, we expect these camp sessions to fill early, so secure your spot now! Choose from 1/2 Day Sessions (9a-3p) to Full Day Sessions (9a-5p) and early drop-off and late pick is available as an option.

While there is Advanced and Elite Chess Training in our summer programs, all Chess levels from beginner to advanced are encouraged and welcome!
