International Chess Academy (ICA) and The Chess Academy for Talented Youth are excited to join forces and offer two 4-week Online Summer Training Sessions for aspiring chess masters taught by the world's most distinguished chess coaches. Join an international who's who of the elite in the chess coaching world. Our world-renowned staff of Head Coach GM Gennady Sagalchik, GM Alex Baburin, GM Yury Shulman, GM Nikola Mitkov, WGM Anna Zatonskih, IM Valery Atlas, GM Artur Yusupov, GM Yuriy Yakovich, and GM Ilya Smirin will assist in taking your chess game to a new level.
 
This program is for serious students rated above 1800 USCF.
 
The camp will take place ONLINE Monday - Friday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST. Class sizes will be small (no more than 12 students per instructor). Both full-session and single-week registration are available.

The tuition is $550 per week (early bird, multi-week, sibling discounts are available!)

Meet Our Distinguished Coaches!
Head Coach GM Gennady Sagalchik has coached numerous young players to national individual and team titles as well as World Youth Championship qualifications.
 
GM Alex Baburin is the best-selling author of the highly sought-after book Winning Pawn Structures, and is now the editor-in-chief of Chess Today

GM Yury Shulman was the Head Coach for the USA Men's National Team in 2012-2013 and the USA Women's National Team in 2006 and 2014. He has been second to world-renowned players like Boris Gelfand and Zsuzsa Polga.
 
GM Nikola Mitkov played on the Macedonia National team and participated in 10 Chess Olympiads. He is currently coaching hundreds of students in the Chicago area.
 
WGM Anna Zatonskih is a four-time U.S. Women's Champion and member of the US Chess Team. She won the Ukrainian Women's Chess Championship in 2001 and represented Ukraine in two Chess Olympiads.

IM Valery Atlas was second to Boris Gelfand in his matches against Kramnik and Karpov. He is also an author and contributor for ChessBase magazine, Chess Informant and the New in Chess yearbooks.
 
We will also be joined by several high profile guest instructors!
Artur Yusupov was second to Viswanathan Anand and Peter Leko during their world championship campaigns. He is a prolific chess writer who has played a major role in the preparation of many of today's younger GMs.
 
GM Yuriy Yakovich is the former head coach of the Russian National Woman's team and current Head Coach of the Kazakhstan National Women's team. He has coached such illustrious players as GM Sanan Siugirov and GM Ivan Bukavshin.
 
GM Alexander Chernin won the 1985 Soviet Championship and won a gold medal at the inaugural World Team Championship. He is a former coach of Judith Polgar, Fabiano Caruana, and other world class players.
 
GM Ilya Smirin is the author of the highly acclaimed book King's Indian Warfare. He has claimed the top honors in most of the US Majors, including World Open, New York Open, National Open and Chicago Open.
