November 28^th, 2020 Quads Report

Greetings participants and thank you all for playing. A warm welcome to all our new players this week. With 8 sections and 34 total players, there were 13 of you playing for the first time! Here are the highlights from the event

Welcome to our 13 new players: Connor, Aidan, Richard, Nihar, Rohith, Peyton, Alex W, Leo, Avital, Alex X, Benaya, Dhruv, and Everest all played their first online event with us this week!

Section 1 Albert trampled through his competition taking first place with a perfect score! Albert is no stranger to titles and is a regular in our events. Well done on adding to your trophy case! He also scores our Game of The Week for his victory in Round 1. You can view it here: AlbertGOTW

Section 2 was a battle of thoughtful competitors! This section continued long after all the other tournament participants had gone home. In the end, Leo and Benaya tied for first place with 2.5 points each! Both are first time competitors in our tournament! Very impressive stuff from both!

Section 3 once again saw Aiden Kennedy rising to the top. His perfect score was denied by Saanvi who held him to a draw! With this victory, Aiden is on a two-time winning streak, can he make it three?

In Section 4 and Section 5, some of our new competitors came out swinging! Dhruv and Peyton in their first ever events with us smashed their sections with perfect scores! Looks like we have some new crushers to look out for!

In Section 6, the story of perseverance shone through. After weeks and weeks of tournaments and classes, the effort paid off for Leon! He took his first ever win this week with a perfect score. Keep up the hard work!

In Section 7, Hovannes made his return to the top of the leaderboard, taking his section down with another perfect score! After struggling in his most recent event, Hovannes came back this week with something to prove!
