February 12, 2022, Glen Rock Quads Report (by TD Alan Salnikov)

Today we had a very large turnout, with 40 participants split into 10 sections. 

The player I was most impressed with was Vedanta Das (from top section), who finished the day with perfect three wins out of 3! His highlight came in the final match where he trapped his opponent’s bishop to secure an advantage.

Another player that impressed me was Colin Delabie. His highlight of the day came in his second match when he sacrificed his knight to open up the opponent’s king.
