The 22nd Annual International Chess Academy Scholastic Summer Camp is ramping up and ready to go virtual for July 11 - August 26.
ICA Summer Camp will be integrated into an all-day (with additional A.M. or P.M. options). Our Summer Camps offer intellectually rigorous, yet incredibly fun and structured daily programs for kids ages 6-16. BEST OF ALL, TAKE US WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO, ALL SUMMER LONG!
From small group classes with individualized instruction in a 6:1 ratio of campers to counselors, tournaments, puzzles, art, math, brain games, and even music, we’ll keep your child mentally stimulated and engaged.
ICA Summer Camp draws internationally recognized chess coaches and our lessons are structured based on levels of skill, with a focus on strategy, tactics and end-game training. At ICA, confidence is reinforced at every level and in a multitude of disciplines.
From beginner student to the advanced, our coaches are here to help your child grow, excel and have summer fun.
SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
All chess classes and camp sessions conducted online will use the conferencing tool ZOOM as the virtual classroom platform, however, numerous other programs and apps will be implemented for a variety of activities and functions. With a 6:1 student teacher ratio, our entire curriculum is designed with a focus on safety, discipline and privacy. Instructors are trained to carry out instruction with the utmost respect for the safety of our students.
