In Europe alone, over 6 million students embrace chess for its enormous impact on the 4 C’s: Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication. Our approach to chess education incorporates the practice of gamification, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children learn chess, train for competitions, engage with peers, build self-confidence, practice good sportsmanship, and have fun. ICA collaborates closely with schools, recreational departments, teachers, and parents to craft extra-curricular chess programs that seamlessly integrate into the school day, after-school activities, or weekend sessions. We partner directly with educators to promote chess in schools, making it easy to organize educational chess programming for children in any scholastic institution.
Aiming to provide the best education possible for our students, ICA employs engaging chess instructors with extensive experience playing and teaching the game, many of whom boasting Master or Grandmaster titles. A significant number of our coaches are proud alumni, contributing to the continuity of our legacy.
With over two decades of inspiring children, our high expectations and scholastic programming yield remarkable results. Many ICA alumni have gone on to pursue higher education at prestigious institutions like Princeton, MIT, Columbia, and Johns Hopkins.
