Yehuda Koslowe easily won Section 2 (also USCF rated tournament) with 8.5 points out of 10, Alister Collins came 2nd with 6.5 points out of 10, and 3rd was Sebastian Spitz with 5.5 points out of 10. The winner of section two in week # 3 – Gelad Drillich was not in his best form this week, which is quite normal for young chess players.
Section 3 (un-rated event) was very even. Eric Kong and Alan Liu were leading until the last round were they draw each other and let Connor Cabrera (who won his last game) get ahead of them by .5 point. Connor won section 3 with 7.5 points out of 10.
Section 4 (another un-rated even) was created for young chess players who had just started playing, to give them a chance to play real tournament games, and at the same time have a chance to win a trophy! Gary Braudo who was leading for the duration of the tournament lost (in winning position!) on the last day to Zachary Mankowitz. As a result, Zachary Mankowitz and Lilla Cabrera tied for 1st & 2nd places and received real chess trophies! Even though
