2011 Master, Grand Master Camps

Master, GrandMaster Camps: Grabuzov, Chernin, and Stripunsky To Organize Own Training Sections This Summer!

GRABUZOV MASTER TRAINING CAMP
Dear Parents and chess playing kids,

This summer we will be taking the extra measure to further split and isolate our chess playing groups and allow rated players, no matter the level to better focus on improvement among only their same level peers.   Whereas last year our “Master” study program with IM Grabuzov was in its experimental stages, the response was Sicillian strong enough to indicate we should split this group away from our main camp as well.

Sergey Grabuzov, who for a long time headlined our recreational camp, and ran his own stronger group within it, will now work with aspiring players with a USCF rating between 1400, and 1800.

With two training sessions a day, sports, blitz, and problem solving, there is little doubt Sergey’s group will show a marked improvement by summer’s end and have lots of fun doing it.

GM CHERNIN AND GM STRIPUNSKY TO RUN GM TRAINING CAMP
As for those students rated 1800 or higher, the GM master training camp will provide an opportunity to focus on entering the highest levels of current, and elite chess.   Though, unfortunately GM Yusupov will not be joining the camp this year, GM’s Stripunsky, and Chernin will provide ample compensation for the Yusupov-less gambit.

The students will be divided into two groups: Group 1 Rating ≥1800; Group 2 Rating ≥2100
Both the master, and grandmaster training camps will be located in Fair Lawn.
