Chess Camp 2011 Alexander Stripunsky Group - Week 1
The first week of the camp in a top group was a challenge for the students in both chess and soccer. On the chess lectures students learned some typical middle game and endgame positions, and sharpened their skills in practicing decisions making in the intense situations. They also had 2 training tests. Top rated Alex Katz won the chess competition convincingly.
The intensive 4 days of soccer once again proved the fact that the Sergey\`s team is always undisputed favorite. Second place got Diana\`s team. Alex\`s team was the third.
