ICA Scholastic Summer Camp Is Almost Here!

\"\"

With Summer quickly approaching it is time for parents to start thinking about signing up their kids for a few weeks of calculated fun.  With two convenient locations in Fair Lawn, and Teaneck for our scholastic camp there is a geographic convenience for parents to bring their child to whichever town is closest.  Furthermore, signing children up for multiple weeks up front allows parents to save more money (a discount of hundreds of dollars if they sign up for the whole summer!).

The daily schedule for the camp starts with lessons in the morning from nine till eleven and continues with outdoor activity until twelve-thirty.  After a half-hour lunch break it is time for tournament games from one until three o’clock when those signed up for the half day program are picked up.  A further option for working parents would be to sign up their kids till five o’clock for the full day program which allows kids to pursue more chess study, as well as participate in Music (run by our own Howard “Super Mario” Fields: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFcdbFTmdLo ), and  Art Program.

There are prizes given out at the end of each camp week and range anywhere from trophies for best players in tournaments to rewards for best student, and best athlete in each study/or age group.  To switch things up we also intersperse weird contests throughout random weeks to thus award even more prizes to those kids who are not eligible to win in our regularly scheduled categories.  These random competitions may include Dance, Comedy, Mime Act, Movie Trivia, as well as other unique contests.

Sign your child up today and we will see you this summer.
