Father\'s Day with Chess, Soccer and Father\'s Day Picnic!
Exciting event took place this past Sunday (Father’s Day!) in Teaneck. ICA students and Dads were playing chess and soccer against ChessMates team from Long Island. It is an annual event that started last year and hopefully will continue for many years ahead. In two chess matches ChessMates won 4.5 against 3.5. In Soccer (kids) matches ICA kids won. In Soccer (dads) match, ChessMates won! The results and pictures are posted for your review. Big thanks to all participants!
From International Grandmaster Gennady Sagalchik, Head Coach, Long Island ChessMates:
‘Thank you ICA and Coach Diana for a wonderful event, for being a friendly and a gracious host, interesting chess and a fun soccer game. Hope the summer will be filled with positive emotions our match set the tone to.’
