ROBERT LIEBERMAN
Robert Lieberman has vast experience playing and teaching chess. He began playing at 9, and was a member of his championship high school chess team.
For over 12 summers Robert has worked with Ramaquois Day Camp as the Head Chess Counselor. He is a retired teacher with over 20 years experience, who previously taught at NYCDOE High School and Fusion Academy of Englewood, NJ.
Currently, Robert teaches for LeanWell Education as the in-house teacher for the New York Presbyterian Mental Health Center. By teaching chess every Friday, Robert helped patients in building up their self confidence. Struggling students have told him, “Now that I have learned how to play Chess, I believe that I can learn anything.”
Robert is also a professional photographer and enjoys chronicling the ICA Chess Tournaments and Seasonal Camps.
